Clean sweep for Alldis at BWRA National Track Championships

Brain Alldis powered to victory, not just once but six times at the Gateshead International Stadium on 3rd May 2009.

He took first place in the T54 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m (above photo - that's Brian in the blue top, leading the field) and 5000m.

Said Alldis, "Competition was tough with Sweden's Aaron Anderson hot on my tail for most of the events.  But I am the stongest I have ever been and Dame Tanni has taught me how to run a good tactical race".

Alldis added, "It was good to see so many youngsters showing up for their first championships and getting to race alongside more seasoned athletes and the legend that is, Dame Tanni".
